• Private Hitting Instructor (1987 to Present) – Provides private batting instruction to youth baseball and softball players. Extensive clientele developed in the Middle Tennessee area with more than forty players obtaining college scholarships.
• Signed more than fifty amateur players to professional baseball contracts with three players advancing to the major leagues, the most notable being Mark Bellhorn, Tim Hudson and Chase Headley
• Improved and strengthened various organizations’ player development systems by providing quality baseball talent for major league development.
• Instructed and advised students enrolled in health and physical education classes at the University level.
• Supervised and directed all phases of the NCAA Division One baseball program at Austin Peay State University. Qualified for post-season conference tournament play the first year and significantly changed the attitude and focus of the baseball program.
• Coached, instructed and developed the baseball talents and skills of student athletes over a five-year period. Several players achieved post-season all-conference honors and three players signed professional baseball contracts.
• Overhauled and revitalized the overall baseball program at Austin Peay State University by expanding and rejuvenating recruiting and fund-raising capabilities. Provided area athletic boosters the opportunity to participate in promotional projects which strengthened the financial capabilities of the baseball program and generated increased revenues for capital improvements.
