PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
UNISYS GLOBAL OUTSOURCING & INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES – Bluebell, PA 2006-2008
Senior Project Manager
• Planned the implementation of the Proof of Concept, and Pilot of Dubai, UAE, a $3M international security project including Maritime Seaport, airport, cargo, & personnel security systems with a 6 person team.
• Led a 25 person internal team that managed a Unisys Enterprise wide Project Management Methodology. Personally insured compatibility with PMI PMBOK, ITIL, and IBM RUP Processes.
• Led an 18 person team to define, plan and implement a Proof of Concept/Pilot of Desktop Virtualization for Capital One Call Centers that resulted in a 2,000 seat $3M pilot project.
• Negotiated Service Desk Management Agreement with Amgen Pharmaceutical and planned and implemented the full service desk, with Peregrine 6.0 ServiceCenter Incident Management system with a 5 person team. Identified requirements, scheduling, and Risk Assessment definitions from a PMO Environment resulting in a multi-year service desk contract for $4M per year.
• Planned and implemented a complex, enterprise wide, Infrastructure Asset Management project for Quest Diagnostics. Negotiated a fifth service to a 5 year contract to create an asset reuse/disposal program to help Quest improve its use of assets and save dollars while remaining HIPPA compliant.
• Planned and managed budgets and implementation of Emergency Operations Center, emergency telecom system, and to oversee the original recovery from the largest natural emergency and disaster to be suffered in the USA at New Orleans, LA. This led to a subsequent flawless Evacuation in early 2008. Hired and managed 4 vendors and some of the seven 16- person teams designated to perform recovery. Responsible for tracking all costs and bringing collections current.

BEARINGPOINT, UTILITIES PRACTICE – Atlanta, GA 2005-2006
Manager Consultant
• Provided daily communication with the Business Unit PM to assure good coordination with Business Unit resources that were also required for test of the releases of AMR Itron IEE application solution.
• Held weekly team meetings to discuss and track all risks/issues, changes in estimated and required resources, costs, and schedule impacts. Managed 1 vendor and a 14-person team.
• Responsible for managing the IT resources necessary to test the various releases of IEE (Itron Enterprise Edition) MDMS (Meter Data Management System) that Itron delivered.

UNISYS GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS – Bluebell, PA 2000-2005
Senior Project Manager/Lead Program Manager Consultant
• Skillfully mentored international business partners and Project Managers in over 40 nations to improve schedules and client relations.
• Orchestrated the generation of a wide range of telecom and technology proposals, business cases, and strategic presentations for various divisions of Unisys marketing efforts.
• Developed outsourcing and offshore implementation plans for various internal Unisys clients. Increased divisional services gross margin by nearly 4%.
• Planned and project managed the successful compliance of the division with Sarbanes Oxley, section 404.
• Proposed and implemented a one-call Call Center System for BellSouth with costs coming under 5% of budget and completion 2 weeks ahead of schedule by using a Global Project Team.
• Successfully planned and implemented a $9.5M, four sites, CTI Remittance Processing System for Qwest Communications and improved gross margins by 10%.

COMPUTER TASK GROUP – Norcross, GA 1999-2000
Lead IT Program Manager Consultant
• Planned and directed the BellSouth/Accenture/EDS e-business/IT Integrated Dispatch System (IDS) program. Effectively completed project resulting in all $40K repair trucks performing an added two calls per day at no added cost. Managed 28 person team and one vendor.
• Directed the project analysis, budgeting, and development of an IT Pilot Project proposal that resulted in the addition of $6M of new business for Accenture Consulting.

WORLDPORT COMMUNICATIONS, INC. – Kennesaw, GA 1998-1999
Programs Director
• Developed PMO, and recommended Global projects prioritization plans.
• Managed Global resources ensuring completion of international backbone with available funds.
• Directed IT programs concept definition, organization budgets and planning structure for International Fiber Optics Network Portfolio of programs for 14 switch locations at $6M per project.
• Personally generated the initial set of processes and procedures for Operations, Engineering, and Programs/ Projects Management as the company started doing business.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES, INC. – Roswell, GA 1997-1998
Program Management Director
• Provided program concept for Long Distance Program and subordinate projects to BellSouth Telecommunications Company with a $25M budget and a 75-member team spread out across BellSouth States.
• Structured the unbundled Network Elements Program/processes with a $10M, 30-member team.
• Successfully directed a 6-person team, $500K project to improve BellSouth’s volume and revenue forecasting. Enabled BellSouth Forecasters to accurately project Market Share volume and revenue.
