Name changed again

I have changed the name of the workers for change to Job Hunters for change!

I think it may be more of a realistc description!

Would any one like to add anything to the workers for Change group?

I never meant for it to be limited to engineers and the people I most expected to make comment are no where to be found!

I would love for someone to come up with a catchy name and I would like for others to give some input as I would in the end like for this group to be able to mentor people who would like a little variety in their careers!

I have been so lucky in this aspect and I fully believe that if more people took on this… Continue

My Resume

I was just wondering, are people posting there resumes on this site? And if so how are they doing it? Is there a special place or do they just copy and past into their profiles?

Professional Recruiters Welcome to the Engineers for Change Group

We have started up called “Engineers for Change” and would like to welcome any professional Recruiters to drop in from time to tome and comment. This group is not only for Engineers and I would welcome any suggestions as to a new name and also a new picture, this one is of the First FPSO I worked on and just happened to be in my files and I know that there are a lot of Advertising people who could suggest a better picture,

This is the first time I have been on a sit such as this and I hope my s… Continue

How do I get my message across

Does anyone out there know the best format for resumes, I know that trends change, I have been updating my resume over and over for the last few decades and tried different formats as agents and HR people have made comment, but until now I have not found the best way to present my skills and experience, I am in the middle of updating once again and yesterday had a quick pre-interview with an agent. The questions that I was asked really made me think that this girl was had not even glanced at my… Continue

Yes, Ian this is a great idea! Unfortunately, I am not experienced with setting up groups on here. But if we work together, I am sure we can accomplish our goals. To be honest I haven't been on here in a few months.
