Cost Engineer
· Cost
˜ Developed and maintained monthly Project Cost Reports (PCR’s) and cost files for multiple projects (approximately $80 million) simultaneously in accordance with executed contracts
˜ Implemented proposal efforts for costing activities while supporting and interfacing with Operations Management.
˜ Analyzed variances in cost and schedule performance against budgets, and communicated the reasons for issuance of variance to Project Management
˜ Experienced in estimate budget extractions and assisting in change order estimating
˜ Ensured accuracy and integrity of project cost on a daily basis
˜ Maintained familiarity with the functionality of automated cost management systems
· Project Execution
˜ Worked in conjunction with other departments within project controls in order to load, compare, and analyze cost files while tracking progress against estimated budgets and progress reports from field sites
˜ Attended client meetings to review progress billings, Request for Information (RFI’s), change order request and change orders, and invoicing
