• Direct the development, implementation, and coordination of policies and programs covering employment, wage and salary management, incentive compensation, organizational development, succession planning, training assessments, safety & wellness program, benefits, payroll and associate services, and associate relations for union and non-union production facilities
• Responsible for weekly, monthly and annual budget development and review for all HR related programs and line items
• ISO 9001 Certification implementation team and management review
• Develop and maintain human resources systems that support top management statistical data needs
• Developed and implemented shared services of on-line application systems, career opportunity web-sites, new-hire on-boarding program, through Open Hire and RedCarpet programs and payroll centralization utilizing Paychex and Stromberg systems across three divisions
• Developed new recruiting methods across divisions utilizing radio advertisements, print media, and on-line job boards
• Recently led and implemented centralization of four divisional HR departments which included a fully integrated HRIS, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Payroll, and Performance Management system; and a company-wide safety and wellness program
• Responsible for preparing and delivering monthly and quarterly presentations to corporate officers at the Operations Meetings and Executive Operations Meetings on the state of affairs and metrics of interest as they relate to the HR operation of the business
• Manage associate relations in both union and non-union facilities to ensure all employment laws are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws including compliance with union employment contract. Supports the company and union leaders of the IBEW in all union grievances and negotiations dealing with the collective bargaining agreement
• Directly reported to the President/COO and CFO of Robroy Industries all issues and concerns as they relate to legal compliance, compensation, severance agreements, recruiting and personnel recommendations, training needs, and state or federal legislation, arbitration decisions, collective bargaining trends to assess direction of company and industry trends affecting the business
• Recently updated all division job descriptions and developed new job descriptions for a new production facility which added approximately an additional 70 professional and labor associates to the current 140+ staff and three facilities and two divisions of responsibility to the mix
