Want to transition into Pharmaceutical Sales from IBM Software

Any suggestions or connections to who is hiring? I am quickly learning that throwing my resume on top of the enormous stack of endless qualified job seekers is not working too well. Now-a-days its not what you know but, whom. I have great relationships at the highest of levels at IBM, perhaps I can return the favor. I have attached my resume... any comments, suggestions, thoughts or tips on that are welcomed as well
