Accounting Supervisor needed in Brookshire Texas

Essential Functions:

• Manages the preparation of financial monthly closings for all Service Centers
• Support Service Center Managers on financial aspects and decision making process
• Supports the effective application of the credit policies
• Prepares the financial analysis of the aging Accounts Receivable report
• Forecasting and budgeting support
• Perform profitability analysis
• Perform analysis of variances (actual costs versus forecast
• Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality
  Management effort.
• Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• 8 years or more of Accounting background
• Must have multi site accounting experience
• Must have supervising experience
• Must have knowledge of IAS/US GAAP
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection
• Must have experience in controlling positions
• Must have experience with Profit & Losses and Balance Sheet Statements
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite Proven analytical abilities; should be proactive
• SAP preferred
